Cultureshock Media orchestrated the production of a striking and memorable website (and catalogue) for the inaugural Folkestone Triennial in 2008. The Triennial is an important new art festival which debuted in the Kent seaside town in June 2008. The first Triennial featured public installations, including sculpture, photography, films and performance by international artists including Christian Boltanski, Tracey Emin, Mark Wallinger and Langlands and Bell.
Cultureshock Media developed the website in close collaboration with the curators and organisers of the Folkestone Triennial, alongside graphic designers Graphic Thought Facility (GTF) and with its own network of programmers, designers and editors. The result is a site that is elegant, informative and easy to use and which puts Folkestone’s groundbreaking new cultural event on the map.
